Nice people, and price is no different than what you’d expect for a Mercedes dealer, but they have a ridiculous policy about their parts. You can’t call to order parts and pay over the phone with a credit card. You literally have to drive into the dealership to show them the 12 numbers on your card. It’s like it’s 1991 all over again. I suppose if you live nearby it’s no big deal, but when I have to drive 30 miles to pay for parts and then come back and pick them up again, it is pretty ridiculous.

I am beyond frustrated with my experience at Mercedes-Benz Portsmouth, where I purchased my GLE as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in February 2025.
I do have to say, during the buying process, everyone I dealt with was solid. They were quick to respond and made the process easy for someone purchasing out of state. At the same time, I guess this is what any good salesperson does trying to close a deal.

The sales experience was unlike most we have experienced at many car dealers over the years. Steve and others at the dealership took as much time as we needed to answer questions and discuss options. Even the discussion of "extra cost services" that were available was low pressure; just providing information on what was available. Overall a pleasant experience instead of a stressful one.
I was warned about taking my Mercedes to any dealership for service due to trying to upsell me on services not needed etc. I came in for a “B” service after driving my 2022 pre-owned G-Class from Texas to Maine… they provided great service, didn’t try to upsell me on anything and I ended up not having to wait as long as they thought I would.
